Canada: CruisesThe majority of Canadian cruises take place in two distinct areas on opposite sides of the country. The eastern seaboard sees cruise ships following a route that calls at Halifax, Saint John, Charlottetown and Cape Breton. Most of these cruises last for 5 to 7 days and start and end in New York. There are some longer cruises that continue on across the Gulf of St Lawrence and up the St Lawrence River to Quebec. On the Pacific west coast, the popular cruises head north to Alaska and follow a route known as the "Inner Passage". These cruises hug the western coastline as they cruise north to the ports of Ketchikan and Skagway. Many of these west coast cruises start and end in Seattle on the USA side of the border, with Vancouver and Victoria, on Vancouver Island, being the Canadian ports for embarkation. Our cruise search facility allows you to find and book a cruise, at the best available price, with any of the major cruise lines. You will automatically be offered any special deals that may be available for your dates. |
